The Wilson School District provides a low cost Chromebook Protection plan available to all students who take their Chromebook home. This plan costs $20 per student

($10 for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch). By obtaining this protection, the first non-warrantable Chromebook damage will be covered for free. The second issue with the Chomebook will cost $25. If students do not obtain this protection, the average cost to repair a device is $50-$100 per incident

It is recommended that all students who take their Chromebook home (Grades 4 & 5 ), purchase this protection plan to provide assurance that damage costs remain at a minimum.

If you would like to purchase the Protection Plan, there area a few ways to do so.

* Cash & Check.. Please bring payment to your child’s building office

* Online… We will place the charge on your child’s skyward account automatically mid – August. You will have until mid September to purchase. If you wish to purchase the plan afterwards, please contact your child’s building office or email helpdesk@wilsonsd.org so that the charge can be made available to pay online through Skyward/efunds.

Getting Help

If your student is experiencing problems using their Wilson issued Chromebook, they should speak with their teacher for assistance.
