Welcome Southern Families,

My journey within the Wilson School District began in 2005 at Wilson High School teaching Social Studies.  After leaving the classroom, I spent six years serving as the 9th-grade assistant principal at Wilson High School.  I have been honored to be the Wilson Southern Principal since 2021.  I feel fortunate to lead a school that has been recognized by the Association for Middle-Level Education (AMLE), along with being designated as a School to Watch and recognized as a National School of Character.  More importantly, I look forward to continuing to foster a school culture that blends and balances social and emotional needs along with academic growth.  The staff at Southern are committed to children and strive to make their middle school years memorable and rewarding.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.  Go Bulldogs!
