Hi! I am Dr. Kelly Byrne, the principal at Shiloh Hills Elementary School. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My 22 years in education began as a 7th grade English and Literacy teacher in a district in Frederick County, Maryland, and then at Cocalico Middle School for twelve years. I earned both my undergraduate degree in English Education, as well as my master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Millersville University. I just completed my Doctorate of Educational Leadership in 2022 from Immaculata University. After teaching, I served as the assistant principal at Wilson Southern Middle School for three years. I started as Shiloh Hills principal in November of 2017. I am married and I have two stepsons (Evan, 15 & Patrick, 13)as well as two daughters (Kaylin, 19 & Macy, 16). They keep us both extremely busy after school with soccer, basketball, marching band, baseball and swimming schedules and events.
I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to keeping Shiloh Hills Elementary the great school it already is. If you have any questions or I could be of assistance to you in any way, my door is always open. Please feel free to stop in, send me an email or call me if you ever need anything. I look forward to working with you to make sure your child is successful in school.
