What is Title I?
Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.
Our Title I program supports students in Grades K-3. All students receiving additional support must qualify through a selection process and are serviced by our Reading Specialists. Support is provided to the students individually or in small groups, both in class and as a pullout program.
If you have any questions about the Title I program, please call Dr. Gangi Cucciuffo, Director of Teaching and Learning at (610) 670-0180 ext-6947.
