Every year, Wilson faculty and staff can make a tax-free contribution to the WEF.  Our 2023/24 campaign was a huge success, raising over $7,204 for the Foundation.

Through the generosity of our employees via the WEF Employee Giving Campaign, the Foundation has been able to offer the Venture Grant Program to enhance and to expand educational experiences and opportunities for the students of the Wilson School District by providing grants to individual teachers, groups of teachers, departments, and other professional employees that support creative and innovative programs that would not normally be funded through the school budget.

Grants are awarded semi-annually to enable unique programs, teaching strategies, and learning experiences to become a reality in the classroom or through support services where they can influence the learning climate and directly benefit students.

The Wilson Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides funding above and beyond the tax base alone so Wilson School District students (K-12) can receive a differentiated education and achieve academic excellence. As WEF is a 501(c)(3), your contribution is tax-deductible.
