STUDENT INFORMATION UPDATE:

The 2024-2025 Student Information Update is now open on Skyward Family access. It is important that all families log into Family Access to complete all the necessary information that your child needs to start the school year.  Please make sure that you double-check your child’s medical information and update it if anything has changed from last school year. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that all information is complete and current in Skyward, as this is how we will communicate important information to you throughout the school year.  We have posted a screencast under the 24-25 Student Passwords and Schedules announcement on the homepage that will walk you through the process. Please note that you need your Skyward Family Access password to complete your Student Information Update for the school year.    

If you do not remember your Skyward Family Access password, you can use the “Forgot your Login/Password?” link on our Skyward Student login page. When utilizing this feature, you will receive an email containing a password reset link for your Skyward Family Access account as long as you have an up-to-date email address on file. If you are unaware of your Skyward Family Access Login ID and/or Password, and you do not have an up-to-date email address already stored in Skyward, please contact your child’s school office for assistance.

This password reset feature is only for parents or guardians. If you are a student or staff member, the district will continue to manage your Skyward login credentials.  

2024/2025 Student Passwords are available under “portfolio” on Skyward Family Access. Parents/ guardians can view their student’s password and provide it to them.

ELEMENTARY HOMEROOM ASSIGNMENTS/ SECONDARY SCHEDULES:

Middle School and High School student schedules will be available on August 16 at 4 pm.  Elementary homeroom assignments will be available on August 16 at 4 pm. (REMINDER: ALL elementary families are invited to a popsicle and packet pick-up event on August 15 from 4-5:30 pm at your neighborhood school. Elementary students will follow a staggered start schedule the first week of school.  Additional information will be provided in your student’s packet.)  In order to view your middle/ high school child’s schedule via Family or Student Access, their Student Information Update must be completed as outlined above.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION:

Once again, this year, you will not receive postcards from our transportation department regarding your student’s bus assignments.  Our Transportation Department now offers parent(s)/guardian(s) a way to find information about their child’s district-provided transportation using the StopFinder App.  If you have not registered for the StopFinder app, please email gracola@wilsonsd.org and request a registration link for StopFinder.  Once registered on StopFinder, you will see all busing information for your student(s) beginning August 19.

FOODSERVICE INFORMATION:

The governor’s proposed final budget includes the continuation of free breakfast for the 24-25 school year. As students return for the 24-25 school year, PDE has advised that they will not be charged for school breakfast. Additionally, all students who qualify for reduced-price meals will eat lunch for no charge.

As a reminder, to fund your student’s lunch account, please follow the instructions on the Food Service website.  

If you are a family that may qualify for free and reduced lunch, you must complete the 2024-2025 school year application.  We encourage all families to apply by Monday, August 19, 2024, to ensure that they are set up in our system by the first day of school.

For the 2024-2025 school year, our Food Service Department will require a doctor’s note to be on file with your student’s building nurse for any food allergies that are reported in Skyward.  The information that you provide to the school nursing department will be forwarded to food service after review by building nurses. In addition, we encourage students to self-advocate and ask any questions of our Food Service staff about food items they choose to purchase.
