Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) Program

We are thrilled to continue Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students), a nationally recognized program that has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into our nation's schools.  The goals are to provide positive male role models for all students just by being present and active in the school and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

Success is a result of participation, and we need you!  Who are you?  You are fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father figure who will volunteer one day of your time during the school year to be a Watch D.O.G.S Dad.

What may I be asked to do?

  • Help direct traffic in the morning, helping students get from their car to the school
  • Check to make all of the doors in the school are locked
  • Work with the children in various grade levels
    • Helping with reading, sight word flash cards, or staying focused or on task
  • Have lunch/recess with your child!

How Do I Volunteer?  Contact our new guidance counselor, Mr. Justin A. Foster at FosJus@share.wilsonsd.org or 610-670-0180 X3057*
