Welcome to the
Cornwall Terrace Student Council Page

America's future leaders are sitting in elementary classrooms today...and one of the best ways to foster their leadership and academic skills is through a student council.  Student Council is democracy in action.  It teaches children that they can truly make a difference- at home, at school, in the community, and in the greater world society.

The Student Council at Cornwall Terrace is made up of two representatives from each of the third, fourth, and fifth grade classrooms.  The students are chosen by their teacher or class, and participate and lead in different service projects throughout the year.

Student Council Activities:
  • The Cornwall Terrace Season of Sharing has become a tradition in which students, staff, and community are actively involved.
  • Valentines for Veterans has become a school-wide project to show support for the armed forces.
  • Spirit Days are scheduled throughout the school year to promote a positive atmosphere.
  • Focus on events that affect families and communities around the world.
  • Community projects as designated by Student Council members
