Wilson School District Superintendent Search
As the community is aware, after more than 30 years of service to the Wilson School District, Dr. Rudy Ruth has announced his retirement from the public school system. The Board is extremely grateful to Dr. Ruth for his leadership, dedication and commitment to the students, staff and community of the district.Now, the Board must begin the process of hiring a new superintendent to replace Dr. Ruth. In order to keep the community informed on the progress of the search, updates will be posted on the district’s website every two weeks, or more frequently as needed.

In the process of selecting a superintendent of schools, a series of focus groups were held in November and December providing an opportunity for school personnel, parents, alumni, business leaders, and community members to share their input. Focus group participants could share their experience and insight into the type of leader that the district will need to successfully educate students for the 21st century.
